History

Texas Tape & Label Company was started in 1958 on a dairy farm in Pearl, Texas. Over the years, it was moved from the dairy farm to the central Texas town of Waco. In October, 2001, present owners Davis Metz and son Trey Metz bought the company and expanded it to its present size.

What We Do

Principals

Davis Metz, President, received a B.A. in Business from San Houston State University, 1969. Mr. Metz has over 40 years experience in direct selling in the fields of promotional advertising and insurance.

Trey Metz, Vice President, received a B.A. in Business Marketing with a minor in Financial Real Estate Investments from Texas Tech University in 2001. Mr. Metz has 14 years of experience in the printing industry, specializing in graphic arts, pre-press, and the production and operation side of the business. He is responsible for production and operations.
